After a long, long travel day our awesome team from Washington has arrived! We greeted them at the airport with smiles and bottled water, all in anticipation of what this week would hold for them. Once we made it to our destination and had a brief orientation it was lights out for our crew! This morning we had a group devotion and I was so blessed by the team and their hearts and intentionality to press in to the Lord’s will for their time here in Guatemala from the get go. Each of them was open and laid down fears, expectations, worries, and anxieties about the trip and opted in to embrace the unique blessings that the Lord has in store for each of them this week.

  We then headed out to Village of Hope children’s home here in Guatemala to spend time with the children. After the day at Village of Hope we debriefed with the team and each of them shared how the ministry, vision, and heart of the Founders of Village of Hope had made such an impact on them because of their example and genuine love for God and the calling on their lives. The team is so ready to taste and see the goodness of the Lord during their time here in Guatemala!
