Hello friends, family, and those along for the read!

After several flights and one adventurous (eleven hour) bus ride, our teams arrived safely and happily in San Andres, Peten last night! Everyone is enjoying the good food, good company, and beautiful scenery. We are very excited to minister this week and share the love of Jesus with the people of this remote region in northern Guatemala. 

Today we have begun working around the Hearts in Action property, helping with gardening, a bit of manual labor, and organizing teaching materials. This week, we will be spending time with students, visiting the children's ward of a hospital as well as an orphanage, ministering to local communities, and playing sports together.
