Welcome to Guatemala!

Guatemala is one of my favorite places in Central America. From the beautiful mountain villages to the tourist city of Antigua, Guatemala has a lot to offer. The people are very warm and friendly, children get so excited to play with you, and family’s will welcome you in with open arms. I love just living life with these people, being involved in the community and living day to day life with them. Going to the park and playing random games or soccer or just striking up conversations on the street, the Lord is moving here in so many ways. Even if you don't speak Spanish this is an amazing place to go, the people are very patient with you as you try to learn the language, the children will teach you how to say things this is a very graceful culture. Guatemala will teach you many things, ask someone to share their story with you... It will change your life, share a meal with someone... it will rock your world, be willing to step out of your comfort zone and step into something new, there are people you need to meet, stories to be shared, love to be given, and lives to be changed.
